These Imation BlackWatch DLT-IV tapes (product code 42337) have a native capacity of 40 GB and a compressed capacity of 80 GB on a tape of length 1,828 feet. These 42337 DLT-IV tapes are designed for use with DLT 4000, DLT 7000, DLT 8000 and DLT1 or DLT-VS80 tape drives. The 42337 DLT-IV tapes are durable enough to last for 1,000,000 passes and use a metal particle tape formulation. These Imation BlakWatch DLT-IV tapes can reach a transfer rate of up to 6 MB/s. These BlackWatch Imation tapes are qualified by Quantum to use the DLTtape logo. It has an archival life of 30 years.
